Greece

There are no words to describe the postcard, jaw dropping views and scenery of magical Greece. Santorini and Mykonos brought tears to my eyes. It is a mystical beauty full of love, happiness, and romance (...and the best food). 

Santorini

I am quite bad at navigating Airbnb, but I feel like you could probably find some cool villa or cave hotels there. We stayed at the Volcanic View Hotel and loved it (see pictures below). Other noteworthy hotels are the Iconic Santorini, Canaves Oia Hotel, Aria Suites, Anteliz, Astra, Alta Macre by Andronis and Grace. 

While you’re there, you will definitely spend a lot of time soaking up the sun, staring at the dark blue waters, and eating a ton of delicious Greek salads. When you’re ready for a change of scenery, you can tan on the Red & Black beaches or go cliff jumping at Amoudi Bay. Shopping and eating in Fira and Oia are mandatory, as well as a wine tasting at Santos Wine Winery. 

And where to eat: Argo, Roka, Ambroisa, 1800, Dimistris, Rastoni, Amoudi Fish Tavern (must!), Pelecanos and Scala. 

Mykonos

Satorini is where you go to relax on the beach or at the infinity pools… maybe even read a book. Mykonos is where you go to party - it is a sleep, eat, dance, tan, shop REPEAT destination. In terms of hotel, I would suggest looking into Mykonos Blu, Kiyotas, Grace or Saint John, or finding somewhere close to Mykonos Town. 

The beach parties are glamorous and incredibly fun, but do require a reservation as they are very popular. If you are a backpacker you will likely want to go to Paradise Beach or Super Paradise Beach. You may also consider spending a day on Platis Gialos, Lia Beach, Elia Beach, Kalo Liuadi or Pssarrou.

When you are not partying and eating at one of the above, your other options for meals include: Matsuhisa (Nobu), Balthazar, Interni, Mamalouka, Remezzo, Nautilus, Meating, Kikis and Pasta Fresca Barkia.
