If I could live anywhere in the world, it would be LA. I love the endless drives through winding roads and hills with views of palm trees, blue skies and the ocean. I love walking through neighbourhoods full of boutique clothing and grocery stores; delicious restaurants and coffee shops; galleries and museums; hikes and workouts… the list goes on. Truth is, I don’t know what it is, but when I am in LA - I am happy (and pleasantly full).

Book your hotel or airBnB. We loved our stay at the Avalon in Beverly Hills and hear the Pendry in WEHO is awesome. On our most recent trip we did an airBnB in La Brea, walking distance to The Grove. As long as your central with a car, you’re golden.

The drives are what really get me. It is the only city in the world where I genuinely don’t mind sitting in traffic - how can you when your view is of blue skies and palm trees. Drives to look into depending on your schedule: Pacific Coast Highway; Mulholland Drive; the streets of Beverly Hills & Bel Air; Palos Verdes around the Palos Verdes Peninsula; Malibu Canyon; Griffith Park and the Canyon Roads. Other scenic drives within the city include: Sunset Strip from Crescent Heights Blvd to Doheny Drive; Hollywood Blvd from La Brea Ave. to Vine Street; and Wilshire Blvd from Downtown LA to PCH.

LA is where you go to live your best healthy lifestyle. Do indoor workouts at Bunda, Barry’s, Carrie’s, Platefit, Rumble or Pure Barre. Take your workout outdoors and hike Runyon Canyon, the Hollywood Reservoir, Griffith Park, Franklin Canyon Site Trail, Fryman Canyon, Temescal Canyon, etc.

Be the ultimate tourist and hit the classics: Hollywood Walk of Fame, Madame Tussauds, Universal Studios, Disneyland, The Grove, Hollywood Cemetery Cinema, The Broad Museum, The Getty, LACMA, the studio tours, farmers markets, and of course the walk from Venice Boardwalk towards the Santa Monica Pier.
